e2v Acquires AnaFocus

Seville, Spain – GrowthPoint Technology Partners is proud to announce e2v plc’s acquisition of AnaFocus. GrowthPoint was privileged to serve as exclusive financial advisor to AnaFocus.

AnaFocus, which will become an integral part of e2v’s High Performance Imaging division, brings to e2v world-class expertise in developing high performance CMOS-based systems for industrial, scientific, medical, and defense markets.

AnaFocus, develops and manufactures CMOS image sensors and integrated vision-system-on-chip solutions. e2v will acquire AnaFocus for up to €34.2 million (approximately $46 million). An earn-out of up to €5 million ($6.8 million) is included in this figure and dependent upon typical commercial and technical milestones. The transaction is expected to close by mid-September following customary approvals. More information can be found in e2v’s press release.
